Highly, highly recommend without any reservations! Hometown Heating & Air installed a new Carrier Furnace, AC, and Evap coil, etc. today (04/18/24). Lee the HVAC tech worked with my wife and I to fit within our budget and recommended a great Carrier system. He even responded to our questions on a WEEKEND when he was off schedule!!! Price was reasonable and competitive with other brands and installation was done 3 days after we made the decision. Lee and Wes showed up on time and took apart my old system, carefully installed a new Carrier system and tested both AC and heat to make sure everything were working as they should. They showed us how to operate the new thermostat, how to change the upgraded large air filters (16x25x4 size, long lasting ones) and then carefully picked up everything and cleaned up after they were done. Very thorough and professional. Hands down one of the best experience.
Technician showed up on time. Performed the maintenance on my heating system, checked all the necessary equipment and verified that everything worked. Lawton Mobley was very friendly and answered all my questions.
Friendly, professional service. Wes Hyder is a terrific owner and great with customers. Service tech Lawton was on time, thorough and very friendly. After an inspection of our units, Lawton recommended we add an overflow switch on the pan below our unit and a surge protector on the outside units, all at a very affordable price (we have already set up that appointment with the excellent office manager Lori). Typical of Hometown, great service and people (administrative team, led by Phyllis and service techs and owner Wes) are all first class individuals who do great work and stand behind it! Look I am not one of those guys who know how much I should be charged for everything; but I am here to leave a review about their customer service, not the price. I recently had a problem with my TXV valve which has gone bad. Lee was our maintenance technician and he explained the problem and the whole 9 yard to fix the problem. Lee was always punctual, informative, and courteous throughout the fix. He communicated what he knew and also what he didn't know but he was there to get the answer for me if he didn't know the answer. What I was even more impressed about him is how willing he was to go out of his way to help us. He spent a long time to negotiate the price of freon gas (which had to be replaced along with the valve) with his head office and when I had the confusion he actually drove from his home to our place within minutes of my query (on Saturday!) to make sure things are working as it should. In the end I think I am charged fairly and treated very nicely by these folks. I am glad a local business like them still exists and I plan to hire them as long as I am in the area.
As usual, the technician arrived right on time. I called late last week to let them know there was a potential problem with one of our heat pumps. He checked everthing out and went ahead and performed the bi anual service. All is in good order. Very satified, as always! Brie also does an amazing job!!!!Don S.
